River of News; Deck meet River, River meet Deck

To accompany the current view, dubbed the "Deck", there is on the upperish right corner below the main navigation a choice for the "River". All raiders will note that this allows a quick glance into what's new in a given page with all feed items being sorted by dates in GMT.

It's like a megafeed of feeds.

Check the river of Technology news.

    Hi,

    thank you very much for the new River of News. I found it on my feeds, before checking this blog. It's very helpful to be able to check feeds in both ways.

    I would like to request to be able to add several urls of feeds at once. So far I can add only one feed each time.

    Is there an RSS feed for the feeds generated by the river? That would be really useful but I can't see how to create it yet

    @emapey

    It's possible to add as many at a time. There's only a single input box on the create page ( http://feedraider.com/c/ ), but it takes as many feeds as you have the patience to copy&paste through it.

    Insert one, click add (or TAB on keyboard), repeat.

    I'll try to make more packages in the coming days to feature best feeds around the Net.

    @ anonymous

    RSS feed (& embed codes) for River -view coming soon.

    like what you're doing here.

    The breakdown by time in the river format is very good. But it should also ID the news source.

    Excellent work.

    I haven't reached conclusion on where to place this information. Would it work inside the hover tooltip either at the beginning or at the end? Unfortunately not all sites come equipped with a favicon graphic to individualize them when the news are listed.
